TEXT: Luke 9:28-37
MAIN THING:
Through the story of the Transfiguration of Christ, we find some lessons to apply to our lives. First, Jesus teaches us through His example that God will be with us on our journey to Heaven, but we will face trials, suffering, and sacrifice before we meet Him in the air. Second, Jesus shows us the importance of prayer through taking His disciples on the mountain to pray and then being transfigured as He is praying.
