Shawn has been a part of First Assembly since he was four years old. Growing up in the church, he began serving in various ministries, including AV ministry, praise teams, children's church, youth ministry, and as a board member. He earned a degree in Computer Science from Winthrop University here in Rock Hill and has built a career in IT and Project Management.
In 2014, Shawn married his wife Hannah, and together they have two sons. His commitment to ministry led him to complete all three levels of ministerial classes through the South Carolina District School of Ministry, afterwhich receiving his ministerial license with the Assemblies of God.
Shawn currently serves as our interim pastor and is passionate about strengthening the people of First Assembly, and encouraging them to operate as part of the Body of Christ by reaching out to a hurting and broken world with the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, he desires to see God glorified and the Kingdom of God grow at first Assembly and around the world.
