Numbers 13:21-22, 30; Joshua 14:9-15
INTRO:
Caleb had a servant’s heart to ensure the rest of Israel had their inheritance before he took possession of the land he had claimed 45 years before. God sustained him that entire time and gave him the strength to lay hold of his inheritance all those years later. Caleb’s example is one of faithfulness and patience that results in divine favor and reward. When we follow the Lord wholeheartedly, then we can receive His promises. This takes Holy Spirit empowered patience to wait for His timing and remain faithful to Him through every battle.
