The Black Horse of Destitution

Text: Revelation 6:1-4
Intro: Revelation chapter six is a shock to the senses. Up to now, we witnessed scenes of heavenly worship. Here, we see images of divine wrath. From chapter six through nineteen, we are in the “Tribulation Period.” (Jer.30:7(NKJV)) (Dan.12:1(NIV)) (Mt.24:21-22 (NKJV)). “The Last Days”, are we there now? People scoff when you ask that question. (2 Tim.3:1-5)
The seven seals on the book in the hand of Jesus begin to be broken, one by one. As the seals are opened, a series of divine judgments are poured out upon the earth and those who dwell on it.
